Description: The subject of the book is static and dynamic analysis of elements, assemblies and entire constructions of rotor machines, with particular emphasis on the issues related to static and dynamic calculations of aircraft turbine engines (TSL). Two main goals guided the writing of the monograph. Firstly, to present the whole spectrum of issues related to the construction of structural models of discrete mechanical structures on the example of TSL. Secondly, to discuss and show ways to apply different MES formulations (displacement and hybrid model) to solve the problems of statics and dynamics in the linear and non-linear range. The book was written on the basis of the results of many years of work of the author as part of a team led by professor Z. Dżygadło. The monograph can be useful for rotor machine builders who use modern CAD/CAM design methods and want to learn more about finite element construction methods and their mathematical description. It can also be useful for PhD students and students of technical universities dealing with this issue.
