Witold Wisniowski

Employed at the Institute of Aviation since 1971, director since 1992. Engineering professor, graduate of both the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology and the University of Warsaw. Academic lecturer and member of many scientific organizations.

He successfully placed the Institute of Aviation in the global research market as a strategic partner of the GE and the United Technologies.

An author of the strategy of the Institute of Aviation on providing research services of the highest quality to companies worldwide.

Since 2000 he is organizing the Polish-American Conference on Science and Technology. Member of the EREA Management Board, Polish Society of Mechanical Engineers and Technicians, Main Council of the Research Institutes and committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He co-founded the Association of Polish Aviation Industry and between 2001-2002 was its president. He is still member of its management board. Mr Wiśniowski is also the President of the Polish Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Author of numerous scientific publications in the field of vibrations of aero structures and management of science.
