Piotr Wiatr

Piotr graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology with MSc in Mechanical Engineering, he studied Marketing & Management in parallel.

Piotr joined GE Aviation in 2002. He has a great wealth of design, manufacturing and field experience; over the years he has worked with various modules such as Mechanical Systems, Low Pressure Turbine and High Pressure Compressor, holding roles of increased responsibility. Currently he leads “Business and General Aviation” Section at EDC. Apart from his day-to-day job, Piotr has always been active and contributing to the overall EDC community; in 2011 Piotr led the HealthAhead initiative and team for the entire EDC Site, achieving the global HealthAhead certification. In 2015 Piotr was getting additional experience at the “Evendale Manufacturing Operation” shop working on the “Engineer In the Shop” assignment.

Piotr enjoys skiing, riding, swimming and supporting his kids Janek and Zuzia in soccer and karate tournaments.
