BSc+MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. MSc in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA. PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southampton, UK. Postdoctoral Fellow at Brazilian National Institute for Space Research (INPE), São José dos Campos, SP.

Since 2007: Founding Shareholder and Director of Mars Space Ltd., an SME specializing in space and plasma technologies, based in Southampton, UK.

Since 2009: Assistant/Associate Professor at the University of Brasília (UnB), Brasilia, DF. In 2012 he was one of the founders of the Aerospace Engineering Course, which he chaired in 2014-15.

He is a specialist in Aerospace Propulsion, in particular electric space propulsion, and plasma technologies.
