Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation is one of the oldest research institutions in Europe. It was officially established in Warsaw in 1926, although its roots date back to 1918. For 97 years of its activity, the scientists and constructors working at the Institute have brought outstanding contributions to the development of the Polish economy and defense.
Currently, the Institute provides the highest quality research and development services for local and global industrial partners from the aviation and space sectors. The Institute operates 27 specialized laboratories, including the largest wind tunnel in Central and Eastern Europe.
