The Space Technology Department (STD) will be responsible for the implementation of the project on the side of \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Institute of Aviation. The project will last 3 years and will end with preparation for implementation and potential commercialization. It will also be the first chemical propulsion module for satellites, designed and built in Poland. POLON is based on propulsion technologies developed by STD, using a green propellant \u2013 highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide. It fits into the global trend of search for and successive implementation of technologies that are an alternative to classic, toxic rocket fuels.
