The quality of the campaign and the innovative propulsion system developed were deemed promising, which led Maiaspace to decide to continue its cooperation with \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 ILOT.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The test campaign took place at the \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 ILOT atmospheric rocket engine test stand. It included, among other elements, an assessment of combustion stability as well as measurements of thrust, temperatures, and pressures at critical points of the propulsion system. Qualification of the engines was necessary to confirm their correct and design\u2011compliant operation before they are delivered to Maiaspace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThanks to our modern research and measurement infrastructure, we can test technologies that are ultimately intended to be launched into orbit. Testing engines under atmospheric\u2011like conditions is a key stage preceding vacuum test stand trials, which will ultimately verify the feasibility of using these propulsion systems during the planned mission,\u201d said Adrian Morawiec, Area Leader and Head of the Rocket Propulsion Testing Section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 ILOT atmospheric rocket engine test stand is one of the most advanced and competent testing facilities in Europe in the field of \u2018New Space\u2019 research.
