Pawe\u0142 St\u0119\u017cycki, director of \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Institute of Aviation, was elected for a two-year term as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/futuresky.eu\/\">Future Sky<\/a>\u00a0coordinator in the EREA (<a href=\"https:\/\/erea.org\/\">Association of European Research Establishments in Aeronautics<\/a>). The Institute\u2019s representatives in the Future Sky became also Dr Eng. Andrzej Leski as a group\u2019s board member, Dr. Eng. Bartosz Dziugie\u0142 who will take over the leadership of the Advanced Air Mobility Group and Eng. Rafa\u0142 \u017burawski who will lead work on Digital Transformation Theme.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/futuresky.eu\/\">Future Sky<\/a>&nbsp;is one of the most important thematic groups operating within EREA. It focuses on research activities, innovative projects and developing road maps for new areas of aviation research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Future Sky\u2019s activities are based mainly on institutional cooperation of European research institutions in the implementation of joint research programs. It is here that strategic work is carried out for the development of the aviation sector in Europe. Works are based on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.acare4europe.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/20220815_Fly-the-green-deal_LR-1.pdf\">Fly the Green Deal<\/a>&nbsp;developed by the European advisory organization for aviation research and innovation&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.acare4europe.org\/\">ACARE<\/a>&nbsp;(Advisory Council for Aviation Research and Innovation in Europe).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Future Sky group is also preparing the EREA Researchers Networking Event which aims to gather scientists from all EREA institutes and develop joint projects. In 2024, the main theme of the event will be Advanced Air Mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking the lead on Future Sky and its individual groups will allow the Institute to become even more involved in shaping the future of European aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new nominations will complement the Institute\u2019s members at Future Sky. Currently, the group\u2019s management board also includes Dr. Eng.
