The prepared concepts will also be assessed in terms of feasibility and implementation costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Based on the concept that best meets the requirements, a detailed design of a demonstrator powered by liquid oxygen and liquid methane with a thrust of 5-6kN will be developed. The demonstrator will eventually be built and tested at the German Aerospace Center DLR in order to verify its operating parameters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ESA project will be implemented in the consortium: TU Dresden (leader), FhG IWU, FhG ILT, DLR and \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Institute of Aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>_<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network \u2013 Institute of Aviation<\/strong>&nbsp;is one of the most modern research facilities in Europe, with traditions dating back to 1926.
