The grant covers making the software available for a specified period along with training materials.

The NX and SIMCENTER software is used as part of the Institute’s non-commercial research and development grants in cooperation with the European Space Agency, the European Union (Horizon Europe), the European Commission (CleanSky and FutureSky programs) and within the statutory activities of the Institute. The statutory activity covers the maintenance of the potential and development of competences in the design of both manned and unmanned aircraft structures and facilities for the space industry. It also covers the training of new personnel (including interns) as well as basic research and development for the aviation of the future.

Siemens software will make it easier for students to carry out the tasks entrusted during the internship and later contribute to the expansion of engineering knowledge.
