Director of the \u0141ukasiewicz-Institute of Aviation, Pawe\u0142 St\u0119\u017cycki, will be the Chairman of the EREA (European Research Establishments in Aeronautics) for the next two years. The Association brings together European research institutes operating in the field of aeronautics.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The nomination was announced on December 3rd<\/sup> 2021 during the EREA General Assembly in Brussels, where the Outgoing Chairman of EREA, Michel Peters (NLR) officially handed over the position to the director of \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 Institute of Aviation, Pawe\u0142 St\u0119\u017cycki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the EREA General Assembly, Director St\u0119\u017cycki presented plan for his Chairmanship for the upcoming year 2022, where he stressed the great importance of cooperation, both inside EREA and also with European Stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201eIt is significant to keep the current position of EREA on the European arena, to be recognisable partner for the debate with, for instance European Commission and at the same time, to  increase those actions\u201d \u2013 underlined Director St\u0119\u017cycki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About EREA<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The European Research Establishments in Aeronautics (EREA) association has existed since 1994 and is the largest, most influential and recognizable organization in Europe for researchers and scientists in the field of aeronautics. It consists of 15 of the most important research institutes from Europe.
