This is a prestigious distinction for a representative of the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network and a chance for the Institute to participate in the work for the development of the space sector in the world.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The IAA brings together the world\u2019s foremost eminent experts in astronautics to address the latest issues in space exploration, including non-military uses of space and ongoing exploration of the solar system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Members of the organization shall attend open committee meetings and program committees of IAA conferences. They are also concentrated in about 40 study groups involved in the preparation and review of cosmic studies of the Academy. They conduct their scientific activities through thirty IAA symposia and by publishing articles in one of the world\u2019s most renowned journals in astronautics: Acta Astronautica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adam Okni\u0144ski, Ph.D., will participate within IAA in Section Two \u2018Engineering Sciences\u2019.<br>Also since 1996, Professor Piotr Wola\u0144ski from our Institute, is member of the Section One \u201cBasic Sciences\u201d of the&nbsp; IAA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The representatives of Poland in the IAA are also: professor Zbigniew K\u0142os and professor Janusz Zieli\u0144ski from Space Research Centre \u2013 Polish Academy of Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>About the International Astronautical Academy<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) was founded in Stockholm on August 16, 1960. The organization\u2019s first president was Dr. Theodore von Karman, a world-renowned expert in rocket technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IAA is an&nbsp;independent non-governmental organization recognized by the United Nations&nbsp;in 1996. The Institute closely cooperates with global tycoons of the aviation industry, such as: GE, Airbus, Pratt &amp; Whitney, and institutions from the space industry, including the European Space Agency. Strategic research areas of the Institute are aviation, space and unmanned technologies. It also provides research and services for domestic and foreign industries in the field of materials, composite, additive, remote sensing, energy and mining technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network<\/strong>&nbsp;provides attractive, complete and competitive technological solutions.
