The author of the study is Ligeia Paletti, an expert at the Royal Netherlands Aerospace Centre NLR. The document is based on the current social and aviation context and presents four alternative scenarios for the development of aviation in 2050.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The report is available for download on the EREA website:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.erea.org\/erea-vision-study-future-aviation-2050\">https:\/\/www.erea.org\/erea-vision-study-future-aviation-2050<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cEREA Vision Study \u2013 The Future of Aviation in 2050\u201d is the update of the previously released \u201cEREA vision for the future \u2013 Towards the future generation of Air Transport System\u201d published in 2010. This new study, describing EREA\u2019s own vision, has as objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>to share EREA\u2019s vision with external stakeholders to help enhance cooperation,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to form the basis for EREA to support policy makers at national and European level,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>to motivate EREA and its members to work together to common and ambitious goals, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a0to engage with the general public, particularly on societal needs and sustainability for the aviation sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>\u0141ukasiewicz Research Network \u2013 Institute of Aviation<\/strong>&nbsp;is one of the most modern research facilities in Europe, with traditions dating back to 1926. The Institute closely cooperates with global tycoons of the aviation industry, such as: GE, Airbus, Pratt &amp; Whitney, and institutions from the space industry, including the European Space Agency. Strategic research areas of the Institute are aviation, space and unmanned technologies. It also provides research and services for domestic and foreign industries in the field of materials, composite, additive, remote sensing, energy mining technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network<\/strong>&nbsp;provides attractive, complete and competitive technological solutions. It offers a unique system of \u201cchallenging\u201d to business, thanks to which a group of 4,500 scientists in no more than 15 working days accepts the business challenge and proposes the entrepreneur to develop an effective implementation solution.
