\u0141ukasiewicz-Institute of Aviation invites you to participate in a series of lectures entitled \u201cConversion and accumulation of energy. Selected issues\u201d which will be conducted by Prof. Roman Doma\u0144ski, D.Sc.<\/h2>\n

The course is aimed at students, PhD students, employees of research institutes, representatives of government agencies, employees of private entities involved in the broadly understood energy sector, and anyone wishing to broaden their knowledge.<\/p>\n

Price: 500 PLN net (+VAT). NOTE! The lectures are free of charge for students and employees of the \u0141ukasiewicz Research Network and \u0141ukasiewicz Center.<\/p>\n

The first lecture will be held on January 25, 2021 at 9:15 a.m. All meetings will be held online via Zoom. A detailed schedule of lectures is available below.<\/p>\n

About the lecturer<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Professor Roman Doma\u0144ski is an authority in the field of thermodynamics, heat transfer, energy conversion and storage and renewable energy sources. Professor Doma\u0144ski carries out extensive teaching activities at the Warsaw University of Technology and other universities at all levels of study, also abroad, including the USA, Japan, England, Iceland and Portugal. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Institute Council. He is a member of many associations and scientific committees. He has been awarded many state distinctions for his teaching activities.<\/p>\n

    1. Energy conversion methods \u2013 energy conversion matrix.<\/li>\n
    2. Conversion of organic fossil fuels \u2013 classical energetics.<\/li>\n
    3. Conversion of nuclear fossil fuels \u2013 nuclear power industry including nuclear safety.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Lecture III (Monday, February 1, 2021, 9:15 \u2013 12:00 am)<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1. conversion of energy from renewable sources \u2013 \u201cgreen\u201d energy (solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, biomass, wave, tidal). Solar power systems, PV systems, wind power systems, geothermal systems.<\/li>\n
      2. Efficiency of energy conversion processes.<\/li>\n
      3. Energy accumulation and its importance in the energy conversion chain \u2013 basic parameters of energy accumulation processes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Lecture IV (Thursday, February 4, 2021, 9:15 \u2013 12:00 am)<\/strong><\/p>\n

        1. Accumulation of electrical, thermal and mechanical energy, production of fuels.<\/li>\n
