Thanks to the invitation made by the Civil Aviation Office, the Institute of Aviation took part in the\u00a0JARUS<\/a>\u00a0(Joint Authorities for Rulemaking on Unmanned Systems) conference, held on March 25-29, 2019 at the International Congress Center in Katowice, which aims to create a legislative framework for legislation related to Unmanned Aerial Systems.<\/h2>\n

The participants of the conference were entities belonging to JARUS, an organization that deals with the creation of guidelines for legislators in order to identify optimal and uniform regulatory solutions in the area of unmanned aerial systems.<\/p>\n

JARUS gathers civil aviation authorities from 60 countries all around the world. For example, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) uses JARUS guidance material to create EU community rules on drones.<\/p>\n

The Institute of Aviation products and research capabilities were presented at the booth during the mini expo accompanying the conference. The SUDIL anti-drone system, multispectral cameras, MOSUPS unmanned aircraft and the virtual reality stand enjoyed a lot of visitors\u2019 interest.<\/p>\n

In the plenary session the Institute of Aviation was represented by: Karol B\u0119ben, Marcin Spiralski, Wiktor Zimi\u0144ski and Anna Mazur.<\/p>\n
